We repeatedly counter series of questions from the researchers and scholars across the scientific community. And therefore, we decided to compile a list of frequently asked questions with the view to ease the whole process.
Question 1: Does the journal acknowledge the material received through post at its office?
Reply: Yes, we acknowledge all postal receipts within 24 hours of the receipt of the same at our office.
Question 2: How much time does the journal take to respond to an e-mail?
Reply: The period of our response generally varies from a second to 24 hours.
Question 3: How much time does the journal take to review a manuscript?
Reply: The review period varies from manuscript to manuscript and the reviewers are expected to complete the same expeditiously and in no case later than two months from the date of submission by the author (s) concerned.
Question 4: When can I inquire about the status of my manuscript, submitted for review to the journal?
Reply: In case, you have not receive review result from the journal, within a month time of the receipt of your manuscript by the journal, you may raise the query about the status of your manuscript after submitting the following information:
1. Date of Submission
2. Full Details of the Title
3. Full Details of the Author
4. Email on which the manuscript was sent
5. Mail ID through which manuscript was sent
Question 5: Whether the journal issues separate publication certificate to each author involved in any manuscript?
Reply: We issue the hard copy of Publication certificate under the seal of journal to all Indian author’s living & working in India within a month time of actual Publication after the compilation of the feedbacks received on that manuscript free of cost, however, these are issued to other authors on payment basis.
Question 6: How can anybody submit his/her manuscript to the journal?
Reply: Anybody can submit his/her manuscript anytime to our journal in M.S. Word Format on our e-mail infoijrcm@gmail.com, after preparing the same as per our submission guidelines duly available on our website under the heading guidelines for submission.
Question 7: Can an author submit his/her manuscript in pdf. Format instead of M. S. Word format?
Reply: No, we do not consider the manuscripts received in the pdf. Format, because the same cannot be sent for blind review process easily.
Question 8: Should the author submit the Abstract first and then the full manuscript?
Reply: No, we do not consider the Abstracts, because the same cannot be evaluated as full manuscript, hence the author/authors is/are required to send the full manuscript.
Question 9: What is the procedure the journal follows for the publication of the accepted manuscripts?
Reply: We place the manuscripts in the publication list for publication on first come first publish basis after completion of all the formalities by the author concerned and the month of publication is conveyed to the author (s) on the same day, when he/she completes the entire formalities as mentioned in the mail of acceptance sent by the Journal.
Question 10: Can an author get his/her accepted manuscript published immediately?
Reply: Generally we place the manuscripts in the publication list for publication on first come first publish basis, however in case of extraordinary circumstances, where the matter of great urgency is involved, a manuscript can be scheduled for immediate publication, on the payment of applicable Urgency Fee.
Question 11: Does an author have the choice to get only few of his/her accepted manuscripts, published and make payment for only those chosen manuscripts by him/her?
Reply: No, he/she has to pay for all the accepted manuscripts, whether he/she wants to get them published or not, as cost has be incurred on the review & processing of a manuscript, before its acceptance.
He/She can withdraw any of his/her accepted manuscript but that too, only after making the payment of applicable Publication Fee.
Question 12: Can an author submit any number of manuscripts?
Reply: Yes, an author can submit any number of manuscripts, however the re-submission of an already submitted manuscript (i.e. submission of same manuscript again and again) will invite the extra costs, equivalent to the fresh submitted manuscript.
Question 13: Can an author re-submit his/her manuscript, if no acknowledgement or review report is received by him/her?
Reply: No, in such cases he/she is required to raise a query for the confirmation of his/her submission to the journal, because the re-submission will initiate the independent review on the same manuscript, leading to the wastage of resources journal, which will be ultimately charged from the author concerned.
Question 14: Can an author withdraw his/her manuscript after acceptance of the same for publication?
Reply: Yes, he/she can withdraw the same after making the payment of applicable publication fee, before the actual publication of the manuscript as cost has already been incurred in processing the manuscript.
Question 15: Can an author modify his/her manuscript after acceptance, but before final publication?
Reply: Yes, he/she an author can modify the manuscript after acceptance, subject to the payment of additional fee equivalent to the Publication Fee applicable on the New Manuscripts, even, if the changes are minor in nature.
Question 16: Who can submit manuscript to our journals?
Reply: Submissions are sought from theorists, corporate professionals, research institutes, academics/scholars, researchers, scientists and educators. Students are particularly encouraged to submit manuscripts.
Question 17: Is IJRCM a Close Access or Open Access Journal?
Reply: IJRCM provides instant open access to its content in such a way that makes research articles freely available to the international community.
Question 18: Can advertisement be put up on the IJRCM website?
Reply: Yes, to place a commercial ad or any announcements about conferences, seminar, SDP, FDP, meetings, upcoming books etc. on our website, mail us on our email infoijrcm@gmail.com.
Question 19: What is the frequency of publication of IJRCM?
Reply: IJRCM publishes manuscripts on monthly basis.
Question 20: Why have changes been made to my article after it was accepted?
Reply: All papers are subject to copy-editing after acceptance to ensure that articles conform to journal style etc.
Question 21: When do you need my proofs back?
Reply: We require proof corrections to be returned within 12 hours of the issue of the mail sent by the journal.
Question 22: Why is the sample copy of the journal sent in advance to the authors?
Reply: We issue the sample copy of journal to the author concerned before the actual publication, so that he/she can go through the manuscript word by word, preferably after taking the print out of the title page and the manuscript authored by him/her, because the issue may contain some editorial modifications/corrections/additions or deletions. It is needless to mention here that the purpose is to ensure that the actual publication is in accordance with his/her original submission to the journal.
Question 23: Can an author suggest the changes in the sample issue, which are not available in his/her original submission.
Reply: The author is not expected to request for the changes, which are not available in his/her original submission, however in extraordinary circumstances, he/she can avail this facility, subject to the payment of additional charges equivalent to the freshly submitted manuscript, however very minor improvement in the original submission at few places may be charged at lower rates.
Question 24: When will I receive online access to my manuscript?
Reply: Corresponding authors will be intimated through email for their online papers, once they are published.
Question 25: What are the certification charges, to have the various kinds of certificates in hard copy from the Journals?
Reply: Certification charges are 500 INR or an amount equivalent to 10$ (Ten U.S. Dollars.)
Question 26: Whether a manuscript can be submitted in multiple files?
Reply: We consider single MS word file only for the purpose of the review; hence an author is required to submit only one file containing his full manuscript, complete in all respects.
Question 27: Whether a manuscript of an author will remain online forever on the website of the Journal?
Reply: Yes, however, after a month time of actual publication, the same will be made available in the Archives column of the journal concerned.
Question 28: What is the process to become a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal?
Reply: Anybody can request for the same along with his/her detailed C.V. (i.e. Resume, Bio-Data) with coloured photograph, so that his/her request can be sent to the competent authority for appropriate consideration.
Question 29: From where can an author get the copy of his COPYRIGHT WARRANTY & AUTHORISATION FORM and what is the manner of its submission to the Journal?
Reply: This form is sent to every author inside the mail of acceptance and the author concerned can copy and paste the same in a separate file and should take the print out of the form after typing the name of the authors and title of the manuscript on the top of the form and complete details of the author (s) at the bottom of the form. If the manuscript is authored by more than one author, all the authors should sign the form.
In case of the Indian authors, living and/or working in India, the above noted form is required to be submitted by post and in case of other authors, this form can be sent in scanned form, through the mail.
Question 30: What details are required to be submitted, when an author makes the online payment towards the applicable fee etc.?
Reply: The following details are required to be submitted for the purpose:
1. Name of the Account Holder of the account, from which the payment was sent:

Question 31: Who all are required to put up their details and signatures on the COPYRIGHT WARRANTY & AUTHORISATION FORM after the acceptance of the manuscript?
Reply: Each and every author of the accepted manuscript is required to give his/her complete details and put his signature on the Copyright Warranty & Authorisation Form.
Question 32: Can an author select a particular journal out of four journals under the umbrella of IJRCM?
Reply: The Hon’ble Editor of the Journal seeks the preference of the authors after acceptance of their manuscript in respect of the four journals under the umbrella of IJRCM. However, the Hon’ble Editor reserves the right to ignore the preference given by the author concerned as per the suitability of him.
In case, an author wish to have the publication of his/her manuscript in a particular journal only, he/she will have to pay an additional amount of 1000 INR or an amount equivalent to 15$ (Fifteen U.S. Dollars) for the same.
Question 33: Whether any new author can be added or existing author can be deleted after the acceptance of manuscript?
Reply: In case of addition of any new author or deletion of any existing author, after the acceptance of manuscript, the additional fee of Rs. 500/- is payable along with the request letter/e-mail containing the reasons for the same.
